Not all mixers are alike, which one do you have at home?

Each Beater Blade^TM is made to fit the SPECIFIC mixer you have at home, they are NOT interchangeable, so choose wisely, Obi Wan! (that’s an old Star Wars reference, if you’re following along. Yup, we’re geeks.)

Does your mixer look like the one above? The one above is a Kitchen Aid SIX quart LIFT head mixer. This is SUPER important! With this type of stand mixer, the bowl attaches to the mixer on the SIDES, and the head of the machine “lifts” straight up so you can remove the blade from the bowl. If you own this mixer, then you own a lift mixer because it doesn’t “tilt,” it “lifts!” :-) If you own a KITCHEN AID 6 Quart Lift Mixer, like the one above, you need the KA-6LR Beater Blade^TM.

Does your mixer look like the one above? The one above is a FIVE quart lift head mixer. This is SUPER important! With this type of stand mixer, the bowl attaches to the mixer on the SIDES, and the head of the machine “lifts” straight up so you can remove the blade from the bowl.
